Composition
Music can take many years to compose, as composition is not merely a process of writing melodies, it also involves composing bass lines, determining chord progressions and programming rhythms.
Formula
A writer may think they have a formula, only to be enlightened by a musician (or AI), who demonstrates a deeper meaning, not so much in the words but in the melody, which in turn affects bass lines, chord patterns and rhythm, unto which melodies dictate.
